Our Philosophy

Counseling is a healing process. It is where the counselor/therapist and client create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to begin the journey towards discovery, insight, enlightenment, and healing. The essential goal of most counseling or therapeutic processes is to assist you in becoming more at peace with yourself and to have healthy balance in your life.

In a world full of challenges, opportunities, and stress, Center for Healing in Harmony is the vehicle to assist those who feel (and think) they may need additional help managing real-life issues. The philosophy is simply holistic in nature. In order to serve in your best interest,  a well-rounded understanding of your life management style which includes: values, experiences, obstacles, triumphs, perceptions, and worldview is optimal. As such, Center for Healing in Harmony negotiates and individualizes the process and; therefore, serves your unique personality and needs. You, largely, determine the direction therapy takes. Remember, change is the only constant in life! Our job is to assist you on your journey as you move through the twists and turns removing the personal barriers to getting what you desire - feeling and being better!
